After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Thimphu, the capital city blending traditional Bhutanese culture with modern development. Visit Buddha Dordenma Statue for panoramic views, Memorial Chorten, and Tashichho Dzong. Continue to BBS Tower viewpoint, Changangkha Lhakhang, Folk Heritage Museum and the Handicrafts Market. You may also explore cafés, local shops, and markets to experience Bhutanese lifestyle.

After breakfast at your hotel in Thimphu, start your journey towards Punakha, enjoying the scenic drive through the lush valleys of Bhutan. Enroute, make a stop at Dochula Pass, situated at an altitude of 3,100 meters, where you can admire panoramic views of the Himalayan mountains and visit the 108 memorial chortens. Continue the drive and take a short break at Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple, known for its colorful paintings and spiritual significance. Arrive in Punakha by afternoon, check into your hotel, and enjoy lunch. Post lunch, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most iconic monasteries, located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. If time permits, take a gentle walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge to enjoy the surrounding scenery. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Punakha.

After an early breakfast in Punakha, you will check out from your hotel and begin the scenic drive to Paro, which takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. The route is dotted with picturesque landscapes, winding roads, rivers, and lush valleys, providing plenty of opportunities for photography and short breaks along the way. On the way, you can stop at viewpoints or small local villages to experience rural Bhutanese life. Upon arrival in Paro, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax after the journey. In the afternoon, embark on local sightseeing in Paro, visiting Paro Rinpung Dzong, a stunning fortress-monastery that showcases traditional Bhutanese architecture, and Ta Dzong, the National Museum of Bhutan, which houses ancient artifacts, thangkas, and historical exhibits. You can also visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most revered temples. After a day of exploring, return to your hotel in Paro for overnight stay, enjoying the calm and scenic surroundings of the Paro valley.

After an early breakfast, proceed for the unforgettable hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Lhakhang), Bhutan’s most revered and photographed landmark. The trek offers stunning views of the Paro valley and a deeply spiritual experience as the monastery clings dramatically to a cliffside. After completing the hike, return to the hotel to relax and recover from the trek. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.
